I hate some rumors just as much as everyone else. But this one made me laugh. Heard that the Oregon band called UT for permission to play Rocky Top? How funny would it be if Oregon is dominating USC and start playing it?:)

Meh...none of the USC fans will get it anyway. It isn't like Minnesota playing it after the beat BAMA.

If they were calling to ask for the rights to play it, I guarantee the Pride would say no. Whether or not that stops them is a different story.

I was just offered free tickets to this game. Some friends are donors and have great seats. However, I told them when Kiffin was hired that I wouldn't go to another game until he leaves. Am I being ridiculous or should I just go?

Oklahoma did this in honor of Alabama when they played Texas A&M a few years back when Franchione was the coach there. That was the game they ended up winning 77-0, and you will have a hard time finding a bama fan who does not forever love Bob Stoops for it.

This is the sort of thing that is hilarious if your team wins, but makes you look silly if you lose. The Oregon band ought to wait till late in the fourth quarter before they pull the trigger on this one.

Why would it make any Sense? What would it accomplish?

* Tennessee has not been relevant this Century (when the USC players were 7 years old)

* Most USC players never considered going to UT

* UT is 0-3 in its last 3 meetings with Pac10 teams

* Oregon is building its own history and legacy, why muddy it up with anything UT related.
