the BSU player provoked him...I would've knocked his arse out too.

provoked him? they're football players...they talk trash. most sane human beings either talk it back or ignore it...besides after getting swept in a home and home against a wac team oregon deserves to have a little trash talk come their way.

He was fighting with his teammate first than jacked the Boise player - he should definitely get suspended for awhile if not all season.

He slapped him on the shoulder pad, thats asking for it, all Legarrette did was slap him back...right on the jaw...dude will be suspended for sure, but it made my day. Boise guy 100% deserved it

Woody Hayes agrees.

Seriously it was not worth him possibly losing a chance to play college football, for some guy who says one thing! ITS FOOTBALL people talk trash. You can not go around knocking everyone out that says something you don't like.

I thought it was pretty humorous. It definitely looks terrible for the Ducks. My favorite part was when he tried to attack the obnoxious fan as the cops/players/coaches escorted him from the field.

That is a really stupid comment. He's a major college football player, trash is gonna be talked. Blount was the guy who talked about "kicking their ass" in the week leading up to the game. He can dish it but can't take it?

Also, when he was leaving the field, the Boise fans were laying into him and he went after them and had to be restrained by coaches and security. Again, he's a major college football player, and fans will talk trash.

This kid has some serious issues. ESPN said he was kicked out of practice earlier this year for conduct. For what he did on the field today, he should not only be suspended for some games, but he ought to be brought up on assault charges.

i think the teammate thing happened after the sucker punch when they were trying to restrain him...they showed it first because the camera wasn't originally on the first punch.

then suspend the Boise State player too, he was a jackass and put his smacked him on the shoulder pad. I was raised not to run my mouth, but I would have done the exact same thing. ESPN tried to act like a cheapshot, but as soon as he touched him Blount turned and dropped him. He didn't try to sneak up on him or anything. It's not Blount's fault that dude turned around to make sure all his friends saw him do it.

with his issues, he is probably going to be kicked off the team. but, it is Oregon.

Yes, it was classless. However, that guy was asking for it.

The guy was asking for it?? Why b/c he talked trash back to the guy that has been talking trash all week. Blount the RB said they were gonna put an ass whippin on them for last years loss to them and was talkin crap all week, so now the guy probably talks a little trash back and taps him and may have said "hey, thanks for that ass whippin" being sarcastic then turns away and he "was asking for it" as you say.
