Did they ever figure out what Masolli (spelling) did or did not do? Heard he stole some items from a frat house but they made it sound like the report could have been BS.

There was a running back from Nebraska in the 90's, can't quite remember his name, that dragged a girl down a flight of stairs in a frat house and he was fine. Went to the NFL but ended up in the euro league. The thing with America is you're only found guilty if you're poor or not famous or you are famous but they need to suddenly make a public example out fo someone for political reasons and you're the scapegoat. If you're not one of those three things you can kill somebody in the middle of the day and then drive your Bronco down the California interstate and Johnny will make it clear that the glove just don't fit ... especially when you're spread your fingers as far as possible and the prosecution is too stupid to notice you're doing it ... but I digress.

OJ was innocent.....Ok so maybe he wasn't.

Just so I'm clear, you can be found guilty in American court of law if you're rich or poor, but if you're rich and found guilty it's only because there was a sudden need to make an example of said rich person.

Yes?

Not a theory, it's fact. Do your research on the situation; the frat was vocal at the beginning but suddenly became real quiet when the implications of their actions became clear.

Certainly you know who runs the AD of Oregon right? Saving the starting QB's ass from the law is just part of the cost of business for Mr. Knight.

I have done my research. As an Oregon fan, I've read every publicly available article on the incident that I'm aware of and have read postings here and there privately from people who are friends with members of the fraternity. Privately, they appear to be maintaining their original story and have not backed off it. If you had done your research, you would have learned that the national leadership of the fraternity told the local chapter to keep quiet about the incident for legal reasons.

By all means, if you have some information that demonstrates your theory is right, post it.

Your baseless claims about Phil Knight manipulating the law just confirms my suspicion that you are a person who is prone to conspiracy theories.

Dude. You are the biggest rumor prostitute on this board. Albeit, your rumors tend to have a Duck slant to them. Your team has issues and you can't admit it.

If I have heard a rumor, I make it clear that that is all that it is when I share it. And I post them here because I believe that there are some here who might be interested to hear the information and are mature enough to understand what it is and what it isn't.

Every team has issues. When you're dealing with a large group of young athletes, there are bound to be problems. Oregon has definitely had a string of issues lately. However, the ones that are proven have already been dealt with. Simms, Montgomery and Bowlin are already off of the team.

The rest of the "issues" are still allegations. I understand how much some people want to see other schools have problems with players. However, I think that sober thinking people understand that you have to find out if someone is actually guilty of something before breaking out the torches and pitchforks.
