have to think with Stanford pushing Oregon around up front that Alabama would do much of the same. forget the Ducks, bring on FSU to end the SEC's run.

It is coaching imo. But that's somewhat understandable since Butch just got here and hasn't fully installed his system or have players that fit that system.

Shaw got lucky coming after Harbough, whereas CBJ followed a train wreck as we all know.

Stanford has been competitive and has recruited well for a while now, and they are used to winning now. We on the otherhand aren't there yet.

But it's not all talent that wins games. If it did, Texas, Florida, USC etc would hardly ever lose. There are many other important factors

Just a guess that a player that has run down Thomas in the backfield on a sweep and downfield after a catch has plenty of football speed.

He'll run down Thomas in the flat and then the next play hit the A gap and knock your center on his ass. Just a great football player.

What a butt whooping this is so far.

If Stanford can do this, Bama would decimate the Ducks. Especially with a month to prepare.

Shaw was at Stanford with Harbaugh.

John Elway getting his number retired at halftime.

My question is . . . How the heck has John Elway's number not been retired for the past 10 years!?!

Man I really love the power running game that Stanford has. Overloading the line and running it down their throat. They're really delivering some body blows to Oregon right now.

A lot of truth in there, but Stanford has had 14 draft picks in the last 4 drafts and that has to be quite a few more than we have had.

Stanford is ground and pound slow. All the way through.
