Orson Charles (announcing at 4:30 pm EST)

minimize...and that's good news, especially out of Tampa. I just always think back to how extremely stoked OC was after visiting Knoxville. This is why I think we at least make the final cut.

Unless Orson wants to join the circus, he might want to stay clear of the Vols.....they got their women's bball HC dancing in a cheerleader outfit, their men's bball HC attends women's games shirtless, and then the ridiculous recruiting story of Lane and his new gang of coaches treating their Junior Day meeting as a showcase for their Chip N Dale's routine, maybe trying to give new meaning to the phrase Rocky Top......I know it's Tennessee, but even for UT this has to be very bizarre....maybe the AD has a thing for hiring coaches that like to play dress-up and dance.

Besides all of the current hullabaloo, bottom line is that UT will be getting thumped by most of the SEC next season

we are getting haters everywhere.....these people just can not fathom the thought that a player would rather come join our circus, than play for their team.

Yeah, with two visits scheduled to schools he's interested in.

Even if it is UGA, he is going to take those visits. This situation differs from the Brown and Oku debacles.

I'm aware it's very different from those two. I just said "I feel" .. If he were committed to GA he would be there by now. With them gettin Lynch and Marlon, I just like our chances with each passing day. Sorry my optimistic feel makes me

Other than that, I appreciate your posts, signatures, and work on avatars :good!:

I'm starting to warm up to the idea of him choosing us too. Maybe it's homeristic optimism... but saying if he was going to pick UGA he would have already done it is a silly assumption.

Thanks for the second part of your post. Nice to be appreciated. :blush2:

reminds me of Sparky Lyle's book (Bronx Zoo) how as a kid he wanted play baseball or join the circus. He came to the New York Yankees and did both.

If it's down to us and UGA, I don't think it's that big of a decision. He could go to Georgia and not come close to playing for a NC which Richt has never done (and he's had some talented teams there) or he can come here where the excitement is at an all time high and play for a coaching staff that is out to prove something which I think they will. Just saying, were going to be there before UGA ever will. They have already proven that they can't get it done.

Don't know if it has been said on here already, but OC is apparently really good friends with Robert Marve.

And there was talk that both of them wanted to come to UT together. Not sure what to make of that now because of the restrictions on Marve, but thought I would share. It is probably old news to some.

Thanks. I didn't know that. I think the ability to limit kids from going to out of state AND out of conference schools is lame.

Yea i agree, the restrections put on these players are crazy. I think if a player has a change of heart in where he wants to play he should be able to go wherever he wants to go. JMO

I think it is just common sense. This isn't the NFL.
