Haha. It's funny how you ignore the defensive hold by Miami on Chris Gamble with about 2 minutes to go in the 4th. The worst no-call in the history of college football. Go back and watch the tape unless you're afraid of what you'll see. If called like it should have been, it's first down Ohio State, game over, no OT, no controversial late flag that you seem so quick to recall but conveniently forget a far more obvious missed call a few minutes earlier.
And the play you refer to, the hold took place at the 5 yard line, not the interference in the end zone. The only thing wrong about that play was the flag was thrown about a half hour late. Whose fault is that?
The funny thing is, some of you didn't pay attention to my last post. I will repeat, I didn't think the officiating cost Ohio State the game last night and a couple of you either can't read or can't comprehend. So what if I saw the Diebler steal differently than one of you. I might be wrong but you might be too. Either way, it doesn't matter. It was called a foul and you play on. Why not make a comment on the plays I thought went in Ohio State's favor there, Bass Man? Did you not see Williams and Chism throwing OSU players aside? Things happen in basketball games both ways and, frankly, I don't think it made any difference in the outcome.
Good luck tomorrow vs. Sparty.
I see Diebler flop like a ***** twice on each of those guys - and another attempted flop against a Prince drive.
I saw Chism box out Lighty on Scotty Hopson's drive dunk and a foul play - and Lighty was just playing soft and got knocked down. How does Chism throw the guy aside when his back is to him? Chism didn't get away with crap - while your flopper got 2-3 calls his way.
Williams, on the other hand, got away with an obvious one was when he bumped Lighty and his momentum carried him into Maze (who had the ball) and got a foul on him. There may have been another but not a super obvious one like that one.
And the "maybe I saw the steal differently" or whatever is just ridiculous. Neither of us saw it. You couldn't have unless you were sitting on that side of the floor at the game - or were refereeing the game. The camera angle was horrible - so you can't make an argument there.
