Nothing like Big House arrogance.Michigan always has these issues and it starts at the top. Moore screaming we own you at fans. The players planted a flag in 2022 and tried again in 2024. Mullins saying they need to learn how to lose...don't remember OSU having this issue against Oregon. It's a Michigan problem when it keeps happening. Happened against Penn State a few years back, twice against MSU and now against OSU. Heck yesterday Florida planted a flag yesterday and Napier said it wouldn't happen again and was embarrassing. Meanwhile Michigan hung the flag it used to plant in 2022 in Schembechler Hall. It starts at the top. Living in Michigan Ill tell you Michigan fans are the worst kind.
No Zoom calls, just a bunch of beta males copying what they’ve seen other dumb kids doing. They all get the poor sportsmanship award presented by Terrell Owens. Not to get all psychological, but it’s a bigger problem with an overall lack of knowledge and understanding of what respect and disrespect are. In some ways, it’s arrogance as well. Some of these kids know that if they are suspended, their team could possibly lose games, leading to lower game payouts for athletic programs, fewer booster checks, and lower fan participation. So some of them behave like entitled brats that think they’re untouchable. Typically, the players who instigate these types of confrontations are the ones who are on 2nd/3rd string kickoff or kickoff return teams and barely made the travel roster. It’s rare that you would see someone like Travis Hunter or Nico, or other star players doing something like this. There needs to be some personal accountability on behalf of each individual player involved and not just a blanked fine for the school. Best idea, the NCAA should not suspend the players involved from playing in games. The better idea is to declare that each player involved ineligible for NIL participation by the entire NCAA.Was there a Zoom meeting last week among all the football players, where they decided that you must plant a flag if you beat your rival on the road?
I'm expecting conferences now to put in regulations banning those big hand held flags from use by the schools. Although none of their field storming measures are working, so that probably won't work either.
Those big flags are in the custody of the cheerleaders of each squad for their usage during games. How long until team flags are banned because people can't stop being idiots?
