If that is the case, why burn "her friend" (the coaches wife) and drag others down? There is more to it than just money or his supposed abusiveness for her to stirr up all of the other things and be so public about it. The worst part is, for the rest of their lives, her children are going to have to deal with all of this negative publicity. That is the saddest thing to me about the entire situation.

I don't know exactly what went on with them. Like you, I was not in their home so I have no way of knowing who did what to whom. And, to be honest, I have not followed this situation closely. What little I do know is that the media has dogged this guy. I did see a couple of segments last fall of Finebaum and he used this to dog out Urban Meyer. But, I don't watch Finebaum. That was just a situation where I was for two days last year.

I can tell you what I have noticed, however. And again, I have not been glued to this story at all. What I have noticed is that I have never read where the guy has spoken of one negative connotation regarding his ex wife. Doesn't mean he hasn't. Just means what I have just spoken. I have never read that. Just to be sure of what I am speaking of, I did go back and read some things that have been printed in the past. The one incident that has been popularized wrote that "both" were aggressors. That does mean that she was just as much as fault as he was. In his defense, he says it was all her doing and he was just trying to get her away from him. Now, again, I don't know. I was not there. Unlike you and the media, you guys are speaking of this as you were right in the middle and were there. As of this latest incident, he posted where he was there to pick his children up at school. The principal decided to call the ex wife. The way it reads is that she immediately figured this was a way to create more drama. Again, I was not there. Nor, do I know her or personally know the situation.

All I can do is have an open mind when reading about this situation. I don't have a dog in it either way. What ever has happened to you or who ever it was in your family that has been through this type of situation, I do feel sorry for you. There is a restraining order on him. He was not authorized to pick up his kids, and he knew it, and he tried anyway. (And I thought I read that they live in a different state?)

I used to work in elementary schools. If your name is not on the “OK to pick up” list, you do NOT get to pick them up. Think about why that might be, especially when someone has demonstrated a less-than-stable personality repeatedly on social media. You figure he wanted to take them to the park to have ice cream cones? Maybe; maybe not.

He made good money, but I didn’t want that influence in my son’s life. If you take that child support, you are allowing a role model that is destructive for your child.
