What is going on here? All posters have opinions and some take offense at what others say. To reply to those posts is okay,as is pointing out what you think. But when it comes to threatening others because they said something you disagree with, that should not happen. When it does,it gives fodder to the opposite side. Words should never hurt you, only physical actions can do that. Most of us on here simply want to comment on our Lady Vols, and to live as we see fit. We empathize with all who are done wrong, but words cannot change what has happened heretofore. So,Freak, please take this topic and the threats down.

Sparks should be ashamed of themselves with the way they've played the last 5.5 quarters of basketball. The Lynx have outscored them by about 40 points. I mean, it's not like it's an important game or anything...

Candace and Nneka with 1 collective point and 0 FGM between them in the first half. Lynx play good defense, but this performance has been inexcusable. Candace with 0 pts/0 rbs while Sylvia already has a double-double.

Better performance in the 2nd half. Parker and Nneka with their first buckets. Hopefully that gets them going

Lead down to 10. Shame that the Sparks spotted them a half. Don't need to win, but they need to keep it close to slow down Minnesota's momentum on the court.

LA needs a pure shooter like Augustus or Moore. They are not a good jump shooting team if they can't score in the paint.

The refs are helping the Lynx and it's not funny. Whalen fell straight to the ground with no travel called!

Looks like Sims clean stripped Maya, who fouls her in return, but the refs decide that they wanted the Lynx to win. That call was ridiculous 🙂

But I can't really complain because Brunson just called for a foul with a clean stuff.

5 second violation with a chance to tie or win. Really, Alanna? Why is she on the court on offense instead of Essence anyway?

And then LA coughs it up AGAIN. These are professional basketball players, right 😂?

LA gave that game away. They could not hit anything the 1st quarter and some of their turnovers were ridiculous!

This was a very sloppy, poor quality game from both teams. Considering that the 1st game was one of the best playoff games in recent memory, tonight's game was just painful to watch, even though the final score was close. That last 90 seconds with the blown calls and turnovers was probably not something that the league wants to showcase...

This what makes the Finals fun. Give Game 2 to The Lynx.

Got to move on now to Los Angeles.

Look for the Sparks to win Game 3.

It's a 5 game series. It ain't over yet.:D

Win some. Lose some.

GOL.A.!

L A Sparks disrespected our country and our flag. Their actions hurt the women's game. Pat would never condone a lack of respect for our country, our flag, and our veterans. Nor would she ever do anything to hurt the women's game.

I was so looking forward to this series. I don't even want to watch anymore. DISGUSTED.

I support my Los Angeles Sparks!

Another sloppy game by both teams, but LA with a better defensive effort and a balanced scoring effort gives them a decisive wire to wire win. Moore in foul trouble in the first 12 min and 0 points from Augustus and Whalen did the Lynx in.

Hope LA comes out strong and wraps up the repeat at home. I had my doubts at the start of the season, but I think LA is just an outright better team than Minny at this point of the season, especially with the consistent scoring contributions from Sims.

The Sparks played some good lock-down defense to close out the game. CP3 did not have a great offensive game but she was disruptive defensive force. having your superstar doing the blue collar work generally bodes well.

After the Lynx, is any other team close to competing with the Sparks for the next few years? Adding Sims was a great move, that might turn into multiple championships.

At that age, it's all about scoring for 90% of the kids. Keep teaching defense and rebounding, eventually the light will come on for the kids that want to be really good.

Phoenix will be better next year once Bonner gets back into playing shape. I think Connecticut will be really good if Chiney comes back healthy. Washington and Dallas have solid teams as well.

I don't think LA is head and shoulders above all the other teams, but they find a way to win when it matters. They are mentally tougher than most other teams when they need to be.
