Don't care whether you buy it or not. The man died yesterday. One thing I left out was that he tried, over and over again, to get CoverTN, a more affordable health insurance(with limits of course) available to those with incomes less than 50,000/yr. At the time of his death, he was awaiting word from them on his latest appeal

No they took over GM because your president is in the hands of the unions. There was no economic reason to save GM. United airways went bankrupt without significant lost jobs. GM could have done the same

Nothing against America, but I was thinking of retiring overseas anyway. Having lived overseas for 12 years; for the most part, I have enjoyed it. Life is much simpler. Tops on my list are Thailand, Panama, China, and Vietnam was not bad either. Not to mention, I could live like a king on my present savings. No offense to America, it's just economics.

Here is the thing true....Sewanee being a great university has nothing to do with you. You are a freaking accountant with a title, that is all. If you left tomorrow, they would not feel it or care in the least. Hell, if you have the same level of arrogance with your fellow office personel, they would be happy that you are gone.

it's a fine school. not elite, but fine. the question is why you give a crap? even if you went there, which you didn't, i don't understand why you lord it over people. plenty of people here actually went to elite universities and aren't mentioning it every 5 seconds as validation for thier arguments.

The problem with message boards and specifically, the keyboard, is that you can't type tone and voice inflections. Same with facial expressions. If these were face to fact discussions, I am certain it would be more civil with less bickering
