OU disrespectful by not putting in their 2nd string

National Championship competition and the money involved in the programs doesn't allow Top 10 to ease up. Things are different than they used to be.

Exactly the title.

It is a common sign of respect when it is clear you've won a ballgame to put your 2nd string in...not only is it considerate, but it keeps your players from getting hurt and keeps their legs ready for next weekend.

Classless Stoops.

Dumbest thing I've ever read.

Trying to run the score up......speaks volumes about our defense.

Our defense didn't do a bad job. Held ok to field goals when they were given good field position. Only allowed 27 points. Given how ineffective the offense was it wasn't bad. Correct the busted coverage and the d may have held them to 17.

It's our job to stop them regardless. Unless there's seconds on the clock let them play c

I tell you what, and it has nothing to do with us loosing...but on the sidelines late in this game....Stoops was still wanting more. He's a bi**h made little girl for that. I really hope that little Hide Out in the Big 12 coach gets embarrassed in the Playoff.

From what I saw tonight...they aren't a top 5 ranked team. If thats all they can do against us, then they'll get beat this season, or get decimated in the playoffs imo.

Not at all in my view. They showed respect by keeping their starters in. You put your reserves in when the other team has quit. They were in a fight tonight. Those kids earned their respect and OU better be ready in 2015.

Why would they? We knocked on the door a lot and missed opportunities. If not for the pic-six it was still a ball game.

And yet OK had struggles moving the ball and even started to get gashed on defense when our run game woke up. Stoops is duechebag but he is no fool.

It sure is buddy boy. Internet is good like that. I can practically say whatever I want and you are subjected to it. I'm glad it bothered you so much in which it required you to post about it. :)

Its wonderful.

my favorite story about this point is one lou holtz told about when he was head coach at william & mary and was getting stomped by west virginia (coached by his long time buddy, bobby bowden). as they met for the handshake, lou asked bobby, "couldn't you do something to hold down the score?'. bobby just laughed and said, "that was your job, lou."

Got no problem with OU. They played a good game and Stoops seemed more decent than I expected.

We played untill the whistle and they played tit for tat.
