OU disrespectful by not putting in their 2nd string

Exactly the title.

It is a common sign of respect when it is clear you've won a ballgame to put your 2nd string in...not only is it considerate, but it keeps your players from getting hurt and keeps their legs ready for next weekend.

Classless Stoops.
I don't think he was being classless. Anything can happen and almost did up until the last interception. We had some shots at the end and he should have been worried. Perhaps he should have pulled some people after the interception (he may have) but maybe he was showing his team that you have to play well for 4 quarters. GO VOLS

Why are you so concerned about your opponents legs for next week. Maybe your coach should have put in his second string to save their legs. :good!:

You would feel better about it if you just cut the TV off and go get some icecream......cream puff. :eek:lol:

Absolutely not! We are tennessee, not some FCS scrimmage team that you paid to come in. OP needs the volnation for little girls. Go be a candy fan, you'll see a lot of team's second strings.

They did us a favor by allowing us to get better against their best. We grew up a lot on the oline in the last 20 minutes and we wouldn't have done that against their scrubs. Too bad we couldn't scrimmage against them once a week.

I'm glad they didn't we need to rep against the best each play was very valuable to our OL hopefully this game will make them better.

It is because unlike you Stoops understood it was still a ballgame until the final 5-6 minutes of the 4th quarter.

The score of this game was not indicative of the way UT played and Stoops understood that and it showed by the way he called the game and in his post game comments.

We all saw Stoops lookin for Worley after the game...even before he went to meet Butch...

That was all class.

I look at it as that game was close until the int return for a TD. The score looked worse than it was. Ou couldn't pull their starters at least until that point.

It's sad you all ascribe negative gender role stereotypes to, what I simply consider good sportsmanship.

The world is changing you Neanderthals...we are no longer hindered by extreme notions of masculinity. You'll find that we've progressed past these baser simplified forms and are now more androgynous in our respective gender identities.

Next you're going to tell me all about the oppression brought on by the patriarchy.

If they would have pulled starters, we would have came back..if the two nzone INT would have instead been TD's.. We would have possibly won the game.

They had to fight all four quarters to keep our guys in check...pulling starters would have been stupid..

They would have lost that game if they would have put their string in. We were giving their first string all they could handle. We actually got better as the game went on. This bodes well for us in the future.
