Ouch... Bama media piles on

If I was Bama fan I’d hope it was fake. To say something like that about noise in Neyland Stadium he’d either have to be out of his mind or retarded.

lol, what a vain, petty, prideful little article. The arrogance born of complacent expectations of dominance. Whoever wrote this decided to dump all over their team so they could feel better about having lost the game. How small. How sorry. But most of all, how terribly soft.
But 💯 BAMA go to. Like I say; Bama Fans can never admit to at the lost to a better team. It is ALWAYS that their team gave it away. Unbelievable pride (and I don’t mean that in the good sense)

Nothing more than a cunning attempt by the Bama assistant coach to disrupt the Tennessee offense.

Or if our RB hadn’t fumbled the ball away on our 1st possession inside Bama territory.

Sampson carries our offense, but that shouldn’t be overlooked with all the piling on our QB.
We could have scored first against UF & UA, both of those fumbles really cost us. Would've been totally different ballgames. But we won them both. GoVols 🍊

This is pretty funny, but it is actually like some posts we see here after UT losses.

Debbie in Young Harris, Ga., writes …

This guy is not NEAR ready to coach SEC … I have NEVER seen BAMA play this bad … it’s like these kids have NO idea what to do!!!! And this is on the coach!!!! These kids need strong leadership and discipline!!! I am not seeing any respect … This coach can’t even dress himself for a game!!!! We need Saban back … God, I miss seeing Nick on the sidelines and I miss the respect my Crimson Tide used to have. How long is the University going to put up with this coach? This was a very BAD decision!!!!!

The more I think about it, the madder I get…This is the University of Alabama!!!!! This is not some po-dump football team … This is the University of Alabama!!!!!!!! I need to see that this man understands this!!!! Show some frickin’ RESPECT and do your [EXPLETIVE] job!!!!! Stop trying to make excuses and when you are interviewed…Say something that makes sense!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loss-induced ellipsis and exclamation insanity.
Poor 'podunk' Debbie.

That was awesome. Glad to see someone in their media call them out on their crap. The only thing I take exception with is the implication that they were somehow lily-white before DeBoer took over. They were perfectly fine with cheating as long as it helped them win. Love to see them cry.
Yep. Bama's OLine And DB's have been holding since I can remember. They teach them to hold, and Bryant & Saban would dare the Officials to call it.

I don’t ever feel sorry for anything that happens to the Tide. Biggest bunch of crybabies I have ever seen. Nick ain’t on the sidelines anymore and it shows. If Tennessee had any offense that game would have been a monumental beat down.

My take is bama fans & sport writers, whether they realize it or admit it, are exhibiting reality butt hurt:

1. as they were already trending number two to Kirby/UGA (even after beating them this year) plus they now have Longhorns to contend with on the field... so bama could always be third or worse,

2. worried they don't have the supreme influence on Sankey they once had as he & the refs now prefer to butt kiss Texas (the most personally privileged university & fan base in the land, displacing a "lost in ACC land" ND) and

3. to top it off, their second god of football left them hanging as he was much smarter & realized earlier the first two items I listed are probably true

Unless I’m mistaken, the play in question was the first play from scrimmage after a change of possession - and after a 5-minute TV timeout. All the Vols did was run out and line up in a formation - I.e., no substitution. For some reason Bama started running players on and off the field I guess because they didn’t feel like they had a good matchup.
Mack ran off and on at least twice, running on and flopping just as the ball was snapped. And he wasn't the only one running in-and-out. DeBoer and company were PO'ed, but they weren't paying attention to what was going on. No sympathy.

I believe the penalty was enforced because Mack's flop was most blatant flop in the history of the world. The referees had to find some penalty to assess, whether it was unsportsmanlike conduct, delay of game, or substitution violation.

He knew or should have known what he was following. Nick himself couldn't follow it and knew to get out. I don't feel sorry for him.
Yeah, we didn't get much pity during our dark decade. I LOVE dysfunction in Bama country. I've always told my son, if he thought UT fans were bad, when served up bad football, we've been holding Bama's beer.

Sean McDermott said so when this occurred. There has to be a rule put in place to take the “injured” player off the field for the rest of the series in cases where it’s obvious they flopped. It’s just happening too often and ruining the game.
Hurt players need to go off for rest of series whether obvious flop or not. Allow coaches to use their timeout to get them back in just like basketball. I would also be ok to give them two injury timeouts a half that could only be used to reinsert players before series is over but the injury timeout does not stop play it just allows the reinsert. Once they have used those, use your regular timeouts,
