Our best returning WR is Marlin Lane......I don't blame Bray for leaving a year early

I don't think next years offense will come close to putting up the same amount of points. I hope they do but it will be hard with losing most all of the offense and having to install a brand new offense.

Sure we'll probably score less but we'll be more balanced as well. BTW it's "The ladies pet...men's regret" ...The universal heart throb...often imitated, never duplicated...Austin Idol. Now that's old school :lolabove:

Marlin Lane is our best returning RB. Maybe Raijon Neal could move back to WR but I doubt it. It's going to be up to Bowles, Croom, Pig, Dallas, and hopefully North to shoulder the load at WR.

Carter and freshman Harris will step in on the team.

Go back and watch the speech Cbj gave the team. Watch bray and that will tell you everything you need to know. Great talent, but a poison like Darick was IMO...

We are gonna have a rough 2013, all our offense is gone, hopefully we can go 7-5, not get run out of games and build for next year.

I'm also worried about our class this year.

I think we'll be fine at wr but , imo, we're probably gonna rely more on the run next year.

I think we'll be fine. Qb position is what Im concerned about..

Peterman has good pocket skills and can run - see :45 and 2 minute mark in video - Nathan Peterman - 2012 QB - Junior Highlights - YouTube

I think we will be just fine at QB - if you look at the offense he ran it looks a lot like CBJ's - no wonder they recruited him at cincy - he looks like a perfect fit for it

with our OL i think the O will be just fine - we had a lot of "talent" at receiver this year but that position also killed us with drops at critical times so while some of these guys that will be playing next year may not be on the same level athletically if they can run routes and catch we will be just fine

i also think Pig is a perfect match for this new offense and he did show flashes this year of being explosive

CP - gone
Hunter - gone
Rivera - gone
Rogers - gone

Now Bray - gone

So who will step up next year? Which "newcomer" has the biggest immediate impact? Anyone from the defensive side of the ball switching over to offense? Other than AJ

Gonna be hard to replace all that offense, but I'm sure Buster can do it

Green at running back!!!!

No, 2014 will be the rough year.

Moore, Brewer, fugate, Propst, J. Smith, M. Walls, J. Stone, Z. Fulton, C. Miller, Sentimore, Hood and McCuller will all be gone. I think Bullard will be gone also, not sure about him though. "Tiny" will declare after next season also.

Do you see the losses on the O line and D line?

I think Dallas is gonna be a very good WR. He averaged 16.6 a catch in limited duty that is a great average.

I realize it's hard for a lot of people to comprehend comparisons between WRs of different races but Something about J. Carter's consistency as a possession receiver reminds me a lot of Jayson Swain from back in the day.. IMO
