Our best returning WR is Marlin Lane......I don't blame Bray for leaving a year early

Maggit if he has a good year and A.J Johnson for sure.

i am not sold on the NFL salivating over those 2 - our LB core was terrible this year

both looked slow and out of position a lot - i know CM was banged up but that is part of football to play effectively through injury

let's hope it was sal's schemes making them look worse than they really were

If AJ Johnson is at full health and can avoid taking the many questionable angles he took in pursuing ball carriers last year, I think the NFL will be all over him.

He could realistically be UTs leading tackler 3 years in a row. That's pretty impressive in itself.

i know he gets a lot of tackles - but many of those are well down field and after big plays have been given up - he is also very suspect in coverage

he is 25th in the SEC in TFL (and most all those came against the weaker competition), had 1 sack, no Forced fumbles, 1 pass deflected

now compare those numbers versus guys that are leaving as juniors like jarvis jones

I don't think next years offense will come close to putting up the same amount of points. I hope they do but it will be hard with losing most all of the offense and having to install a brand new offense.

I don't mind if next years offense doesn't score quite as many points as this years offense did, as long as next years defense don't give up as many points as last years defense did

CP - gone
Hunter - gone
Rivera - gone
Rogers - gone

Now Bray - gone

So who will step up next year? Which "newcomer" has the biggest immediate impact? Anyone from the defensive side of the ball switching over to offense? Other than AJ

Gonna be hard to replace all that offense, but I'm sure Buster can do it
The PIG better step up.:eek:hmy:

Personally more interested in how the defense responds to another new system..

Even with all those leaving.. still decently confident offense will be ok. we have recruited some good QB's and WR's over past 2 years.
