Correct what has he done … meaning what has be done on the field.. he sucks. He’s made a ton of mistakes. I am not wrong. I don’t give two damns how sick of it you are. Some old ass man behind a computer living his dream now.. can’t even understand the roster. Which why I’ve never seen you in the RF.. stick to your small group or dummies thinking you know anything about Tennessee football. Let me guess you wanna start Joe Milton next year too.. let me go find a comment.. you effing jackass. It’s past your bed time old man. FYI I’m 30 and got plenty of stamina if you know what I mean :)

How about this... Fant doing more things makes the opposing defense have to game plan for other wrinkles. There is an argument about holding or showing your cards. Fulmer had success holding his cards. I think Heupel understands when the defense has more to keep up with, the more opportunities they have to make a mistake. HH has and will continue to take advantage of any defensive misstep. I see it as a golf swing. The more you have to plan to do correctly, the larger opportunity for error you have. Allowing your opposing defense to game plan simplicity is suicide. If eleven men have to think about one extra thing, the probability for a defensive mistake multiplies. Whether those things are repeated in the future or not, we are adding extra mental pressure on defenses.

By what standards does he suck? If you are saying he’s not the greatest tight end….okay, But he is a division 1 SEC football player that HAS HELPED the team you supposedly support WIN games all while earning a free education with connections that will have him set for life. You are on a public forum discussing HIM while he will never know you. Even if your statements were accurate, I’d say he’s better off to be sucking at football than you are to be sucking at life.

I mean thats all true but that’s what this is for lol that’s the entire point of a forum is to talk the product. This is a high mighty pov but you are essentially correct. We don’t matter. Life is going just like everyone else.. I don’t want to bore you with figures unless you wanna get spicy ?
What I’m saying is he has not been good prior to this year. He is one of our most if not the most inconsistent starter. He routinely seems to be in the wrong place. The guy before you stated to talk about playing time which is not the point. Tennessee has not recruited TE well as of recent (outside of our normal standard) and we haven’t even really used them prior to heup. Fant has been used nicely this year but to what extent do we give him all this praise. Imo any player on our roster at the TE could have made the plays he’s made this year. Minus the pass maybe
