If he’s wrong, I won’t be the first guy that passed on a rumor about a new head coach that was wrong. I can handle it.

Analytical skills, understanding of statistics, explaining leverage and torque, calculating the results of forces applied to a body in motion, explaining the math related to angles of pursuit when a DB is chasing a WR.
Would you give Josh Dobbs a chance 15 or 20 years from now after winning a couple of national titles as an OC?

Also it looks like someone edited my post which I find hilarious. It’s not as if what I said was offensive or even slightly mean spirited. Hell in my post before it I was outlining why I thought he might be decent. People are overly sensitive.

I believe the man graduated with an engineering degree. I’m almost positive I read that somewhere. Also was a walk on at Clemson and became team captain.

We could hire Bear Bryant and 25% of VN would say why he can’t coach, he’s trash, what’snew AD doing......

If Elliott can just get us a decent OL coach we could be a much better team. Rumor is he would keep Graham, Martin, Steele, and possibly add Garner. Move Chaney to QB coach and get us a decent secondary coach and we could be on our way. That staff should be able to recruit like crazy.

Bryant could coach when sober...TN man don't need him around or that miniature of Bryant now in tuscaloser.....I had rather lose every week than have TN coached by bammers. I understand your point, but please use General Neyland as your example and not bammer scum

You said he was calling plays. Yes as a co-OC until 2020. The other OC went to SFU and has a1-8 record his first year. I believe Elliott missed the playoff game but Clemson got wrecked. Pretty risky if you ask me. When you have an easy first round draft pick as QB it’s much easier to do your job. I’m not trashing the guy I’m just saying it’s risky and we don’t need that right now if it can be avoided. Hiring an experienced HC takes away a little bit of the risk.
