I can see having to recruit, deal with practice limitations, and player eligibility getting old. In the XFL he didn’t have to deal with any of that. He can just focus on football.

I too wish CTE had HCing experience but that bridge has been crossed.....it is a non-starter.....he is our coach now. If you don't like it you have little recourse short of bitchin and moanin on this board, which is your right.....I've engaged in my share in my short time here......however, I will support TN and CTE until I have reason not to.......I wish we could unify behind our coach the way the a**holes at bammer did sabeen in 2007, even though he was a "proven winner" when hired. He was successful at Western Michigan, but Minnesota is a mixed bag. Except for his 2019 season which was very good, his record is 15 - 17 with a losing record this past year.

My buddy’s stayed connected with the program for business reasons. He texted me out of the blue. We haven’t talk since Clemson got spanked by OSU.I consider him a very reliable source. Take it for what it’s worth.

I'm good with Elliot, simply because he gives us immediate juice based on where he has coached for the past 10 years.
