Our Recruiting Class Ranking - #3 Scout / #4 Rivals (Merged)

How much more could we ask for on the recruiting front? Actually if they can keep all of our commits maybe they can be more selective in who else they take. And hopefully they can turn some of these d-linemen into athletic o-linemen.

Ya this class is looking loaded.. if we could get 2-3 O line, Jeff Luc, and Dyer, I think we could call this a MONSTER class

With our defensive commit class so far, if Riley would go ahead and commit that would have to give Luc a lot more to think about in addition to all the other awesomeness that we already offer!!!!

Heck they oughta just both go ahead and commit tonight to keep this train a rollin'! :dance2:

JUCOs have been given ratings, just not added to team rankings....

with our 3 commits today and our JUCOs, we should now end up at #4 on Rivals. already #3 on Scout.

I have a feeling once we graduate this Senior class (can't wait till Crompton's gone!!) and get rid of some more of Fulmer's players, we will be back in the top 10-12 again year in and year out.

I hope we dont get a commit for a week or so. Then we would have nothing to talk about. Maybe 1 every game from now on - minus memphis and ohio and if we win and get 1 guy awesome if we loose then hell we still got 1 commit.

Rivals is behind. The team rankings haven't been updated recently. Tennessee currently has 21 commits, and Rivals only lists 15 commitments in the "Team Rankings." Plus, they don't even have Cobbs as a commitment to Tennessee when you click to view all of UT's commits. I bet when Rivals updates the Team Rankings, UT will be in the top 5.

After hearing the news today about those 3, I knew we'd likely crack the top 5.
Our No. 1 priority, and I'm sure it is with the coaching staff...is OL. We need help like yesterday, and then we lose 4 of starters after this season. S. Henderson , Chaz Green and Stone could likely come in as early enrollees and find themselves as starters next fall.

i dont think stone will be ready...i saw him at camp this year and was not impressed..the other two could show up in gainesville this weekend and start the rest of their careers.

But they haven't updated our 3 commits over the weekend yet.

Um, well they may not be counting Cobbs yet even thought they have all three listed as commitments. When I looked last week we were ranked #11 so we moved up #7 with Miller and Willis I guess.

We should get Moses, Leifhart/ARIEK and Robinson for the OL. Moses and someone else can play immediately and we can see about the other person playing some backup role. We should take Bernand, Luc, Riley and save that final spot for a DB. With what this staff has proven to me already why waste time with looking at Hampton or even Hurd Jr. Let's get straight to the person whom was made famous on the ESPN video. I say we look at Joyner and fill that spot in the end.

Exactly. They're not counting Cobbs because his official announcement was so late last night, and still aren't counting John Brown, Bruce Irvin or Patrick Harris. With those four, I think we pass Alabama.

Get a few top O-linemen and somehow talk Luc into coming to big orange country and We will skyrocket EASILY to the #1 class.
