Given all the heartburn expressed over CBJ's hiring, just wanted to offer some unsolicited perspective.

Considering where UT's FB program is, you guys got a good hire. Gruden just wasn't going to happen after having 4 coaches in 6 years. Of the coaches available, you guys got one of the best ones that were available. CBJ has shown that he can win. Give the man a chance, get behind him, and let your fanbase heal. The SECE isn't the same with UT being on a down cycle.

GBO, but not as much as GBB.

Best of all, you guys can wear these hats this fall; :hi:

Well I for one don't mind a little friendly fire every now and again. Rivalries make college sports exciting and fun, but things do get out of hand at times ! :hi:

A wise man once said, "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need."

Butch Jones is a solid hire. His resume is much more impressive than Dooley, and his track record for building programs blows away Kiffin. He's an improvement over your last two coaches.

The million dollar questions are how well he can recruit, and how much patience will UT fans have while he rebuilds the program.

The guy who said that isn't wise, unless you call a heroin-mainlining bombed-out-of-his-skull-for 90%-of-his-life guy wise. I don't know, maybe in gaytorland...

Patience? There is no patience in Vol Nation. We're all done with patience.
