I noticed I am about to hit my 2500th post on here and it got me to wondering, by time of the Gator/UT game next year, can I hit 10,000? And if I do, do I get a prize? Maybe a hat from hatvol? A lewd picture of LIO?

But I digress.

That whole thing got me thinking about some interesting over\unders, some short term, some long....

Number of regular UT wins next year (remember, you are likely to lose receiving corps experience and you are on the road a lot for tough games: 8

Number of years before UT has a new head football coach: 4

Number of years before you beat UF again: 5

It won't be 5 years before we beat Florida again.

Fulmer will be around for a little bit.

And we will win more than 8 games next year.

push, over, under.

phil wont get fired cause if he comes close he pulls some season out of his a$$ like this one. he wont retire for at least five years.

we havent been that far from beating fla. the past two years.

WOW!

So how long will Fulmer last?

I see ol' Phil retiring in three years after JC wins us a NC...obviously, silly gator.
Nah..this was probably a push too..I see about 4 years...maybe 5. But, saying push, over, under seemed too symmetrical.

Game next year is in Gainesville and Tebow and Harvin at full strength in total spread option. Year after that, still have Tebow and amazing receiving corps. Offensive line has 2 years under their belt and it will be seocnd year of whatever stud running back Meyer gets this year. Third year game is at Florida and again Tebow & company rule the roost.

That's three right there.

It is a rivalry, and I will be shocked if we don't pull one out. It just happen.

If Tebow's half as great as the fans of Gainesville Clown College would have us believe, he won't be there for that third game.

LG, come on dude. Are you really already putting the next three UT/UF games in the "W" column for the Gators already? And all b/c of the Tebow/Harvin duo?? That Gator cool aid must be better than advertised.

I'm not sure harvin can catch or tebow can throw. Neither has shown the ability to perform the key skill of their position. :beerf:

and all the young guys on our team will continue to not benefit from the playing time they're getting now. it's not like Florida is the only team in the conference playing young guys.

and Tebow showed us agianst Georgia that he still has some work to do.

I'll take the

1. Over. You would have set a better line at 9.5 or 10.

2. Push, but if forced, I would take the over. I have no reason for this, but I have a feeling that 4 or 5 years might fit with Phil's schedule for retirement.

3. Under. Lay off the hard drugs.

The way your offense is starting to implode, you had better worry about Vandy and SC the next couple weeks.

BTW, reptile braggard,we play pretty well on the road and will definitely showup to play next year.:finger3:

I think Lawgator's jean shorts are too tight they are cutting off circulation to his brain.

LG, you have to use halves. 8.5, 4.5, and 4.5 would be better.

As for yours,

Over (not close)
Push
Under (not close, we win either 2007 or 2008)

No, no, circus college is at FSU. Tebow won't go anywhere. He's the football version of Noah, just having an absolute blast in college.

Mmmmm... Koolaid.

He stinks. Tebow has an entirely different attitude about the game. He is ultra talented and has tremendous drive to win. Leak is very talented, and has a lot of drive not to lose.

I am more worried about Vandy, on the road, with the team looking ahead to SC, than I am SC, at home, to win the SECE.

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You think it will be 5 years before we beat you guys again? We would have this year if we didn't have to play you guys and the refs.....Trying to protect Chris Leak.....That's funny LG, what did you drink before you posted that?

Evidently, the Kool-aid.

In the meantime, I think that is the appropriate over/under measure. At this point, I have to say you are likely serious underdogs next year. Maybe prohibitive.

Urban Meyer can throw all the stud running backs, quarterbacks, and wide receivers he wants to at us....But I'll bet we have the talent to match it on either side of the ball.....So the next 5 years call is BS....No offense LG, but I don't see you guys going on a 5 year swing and beating us that many times in a row
