Safe travels. I know they'll be ecstatic to see you. My step-son re-enlisted 11 days ago, two days before the shootings. We're expecting a nine month deployment in October. He's already talked to his sister's kids and told them he won't here at Christmas. They are crazy about their uncle.

I'll be on leave for a whole month. I'll still be in GA after leave until October for school, so I'll be able to see them on weekends.

Went down to Finley today to be apart of the picture they took. It was awesome to see all the people down there. Only thing I can say is I wish they would have made the ribbon full of people.

Me too. I was part of the first VW emblem, and it was solid. Not sure why they didn't have everybody scoot in and make one big black ribbon. Looked like a lot of people there.

I'm not sure either unless they wanted to make it bigger instead of making it full of people. We got there about 8:40 this morning and we didnt leave until after 10.
