Thanks. Shouldn't have been in the situation of needing to lose to begin with, but over time eating whatever you want and working a desk job with no exercise tends to do that to ya. :thud:

I know what you mean. I'm in the exact same situation. I've put on 20 lb since August. I've slacked off quite a bit on the strict diet I was on in 2015 and early 16. Trying to get back to it. My weakness has been Ice cream.

Good job. I have the same issue, so I have to exercise since I love good and bad food. My fitbit has been a great help with keeping me active and keeping the weight off I lost last year. I've gained 3 of it back though, so I want that back off.

Yall can go ahead and pRay for me. I've been charged with rebuilding the youth class and right now I have one girl who is homeschooled and doesn't sin, has no hardships she can identify, doesn't believe she has to use bible study books inhre personal time and in general irritates me.

I know that's a bad attitude but she's just irked me today.

She's got it figured out. What's her secret?!!

We had a young couple come today, they'd visited before, but it's been a while. He just stood for a while in the back of the church. It was odd, you could tell something wasn't right. You never know nowadays when someone is acting funny. Hate to think that in church, but it is what it is. Anyway, during the singing he walked to the front and was talking to the pastor. Our pastor then asked some men to come pray with him. I got to him first and asked what I could help him pray about, and this big guy just broke. He told me he may have a bad tumor and that he was scared. We prayed with him, and just loved on him like he was family. It really helped him, and he was so grateful that we showed him so much love. It sincerely changed how he was feeling. There are days as Christians and as a church we mess up, but there are moments when we really make an impact on someone. Those latter moments are worth it all to me.
