P.I. Trying to get dirt on Ole Miss

What scares me the most?

The fact that I'm no long surprised by stuff like this. Alabama fan talking about Ole Miss being the middle of nowhere with nothing going for it? Laughable. From Tennessee threatening to use high powered weapons and other methods of espionage? Even more hilarious. Yet not at all surprising.

I was actually thinking of the irony that an Alabama fan would even try to go after another school for cheating at recruiting.

As if it isn't going on in Tuscaloosa.

We are on the same page.. Albert Means, they thought Phil did it.. Might have but I was thinking Spurrier turned em in..

The NCAA came to Knoxville and talked to Fulmer about what he knew. He told them. (Aka he didn't Bruce Pearl them). Bama got mad because they got caught. What was Fulmer supposed to do? Lie to the NCAA for Bama? Not happening.

Spurrier reported Bama to the SEC, as did a 3 or 4 other coaches. Fulmer was the only coach that actually gave official testimony to the NCAA.

(and no, I'm not claiming that the fault in the Means situation rested with anyone other than the folks at Alabama)

Fulmer was not required to speak to the NCAA. He came to an agreement with them that provided anonymity in exchange for his testimony. Phil had a lousy attorney.

My understanding was that the coach from Arkansas and Spurrier turned in Bama. I am surprised that some media outlets do not make a living investigating Bama. The NCAA is totally oblivious these days.

Here is a list from 2012 of the CFB teams that have been on Probation the most. The first number is total seasons on Probation and the second is number of violations. This is football only so doesn't include other sports. Not sure Alabama should take the lead on investigating other schools misdeeds?

1 Southern Methodist (TX) 17 7

This has all the potential in the world.

My bet is dude either ends up dead or disabled, or puts out some flimsy recant saying it was a misunderstanding
