He definitely got exciting game. He also saw a pretty good defensive effort, that should be his concern.

If he was the recruit they kept showing he was definitely having fun... At least it looked that way

Ya'll sound like geniuses considering they showed him on more than one occasion and he appeared to be very hype. Plus he watched a defense that dominated for the last 2 1/2 quarters, plus OT.

He saw a hard fought win and a team that didn't quit. Sure its not all sunshine and rainbows, but todays result I wouldn't think would affect his recruitment much. If anything he got to see a sold-out Neyland rocking on a Thursday night. Do what we pay you for, Shoop.

Also, proud of the defense for hanging tough tonight and Shoop for adjusting. A win is a win, ladies and gents. On to Bristol

I thought the entire d backfield played very well of course most of it was run support.

Abernathy saved us on that one option play it was basically him guarding two guys. Showed his speed on that one to play the QB and still stop the pitch man. If they get by Abernathy in that one then it could be 6 as I saw Sutton getting blocked downfield to sideline. I thought that was an impressive play by Abernathy.

Gaulden is a straight up head busta. He has gives no Fs about slinging his body at every moving person lol

Gaulden blew that exact play. Flying in like hell not playing his responsibility. Reason they have him in the box and not as the last line.

I DM'd with Wade briefly just now, he's in school but he's good about responding and he said game didn't hurt Vols with him at all, said App State was tougher than he ever thought and team showed toughness battling through adversity. He sounds very positive still and that kid can ball, he's one of my favorite recruits in this class.
