When kids want to come to a school they will find ways to overlook things that some might view as a roadblock in the recruitment.

This kid and his family drove down here and drove back home to PA. We played App state on a Thursday.

We are gonna land this one guys.

It was actually his comment about saying the offense could use him that made me think he visualizes himself being a vol. no it doesn't mean his mind is made up. I jumped the gun on that. At least he still is thinking about playing for us is what I was thinking I suppose.

He seems very interested because of the Thursday driving trip down with family followed by a later official. But I took that tweet as a smart ass comment implying our offense looked bad. Maybe I took it wrong. :dunno:

I'm almost 100% sure that we'll land Lamont Wade. To come down to Tennessee on their own dime in a fast manner as they did. Then, to announce that he's coming back on an OV 3 weeks later speaks volumes! :rock:

I really don't know what else he plays besides CB. I'm sure he's a two-way player though. Probably RB or WR on offense.

I'll check into it & see what I can find out. He's one heck of a CB though for sure. Edit: Just found out he's also a RB too. Max Preps list him CB 1st & RB 2nd.
