It's still a crappy system. I'd prefer to play by college rules. I think you are more likely to get a result based on which team is better.

If you are worried about the game lasting forever, you could simply put a limit on the number of OT series. If no winner is found at that time, the game can be a tie. That would be an improvement over the current system.

At least both teams got a chance to be on offense. Favre just screwed up his teams chance.

So, the Giants have in their favor that Plaxico Burress is healthy and Ahmad Bradshaw is playing like a best. Also, Eli Manning definitely has a hot hand, of late.

The negatives: Eli will be hearing about how awesome he now is over the next two weeks. I hope that doesn't affect him. Is Justin Tuck okay? The Giants will really, really need him.
