One of my closest cousins is in the USAF right now. I do it just to rib, no disrespect or anything. The military wouldn't have me.

I figure they were all jealous because we got treated the best. After school the Army guys had remedial PT, mandatory study time, dorm clean-up. Since we were on a Navy base and we lived in the same dorm as the Navy, they were responsible for cleaning it. So after marchign back from school we were released for the rest of the evening when the Army and Navy were stucking doing that stuff.

Mubarak is probably speaking for the sake of the street rabble in Pakistan, hoping they won't turn on the government.

Someone posted in another thread that bin Laden's compound was surrounded by slums, this isn't true, it was situated in an area more like Beverly Hills and is a favorite place for retired high ranking Pakistani military to live.

My guess is that Pakistani intelligence knew of bin Laden's whereabouts, India has produced a good deal of evidence that ISI has been cooperating with terrorists who have targeted India in the past.

I would guess also that bin Laden had outlived his usfulness to Pakistan and they cooperated on some level. How could there be a 45 minute operation and no police or military showed up at the compound to see what was going on??

The title of Rohrabacher's letter reads, "Is Pakistan Planning to Give Our Secret Special Forces Helicopter to Communist China?"

"Pakistan must immediately return the debris to avoid compromising American secrets," the letter stated. "If this is not done now it is probable, given Pakistan's history, that the debris will find its way into the hands of the Communist Chinese military that is buying, building, and stealing the necessary military technology to challenge the United States."

The letter comes at a particularly sensitive time, as over 100 Chinese officials are in Washington today for the first day of the U.S.-China Security and Economic Dialogue, hosted by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

Tough to run two governments at one time; probably why Hosni Mubarak was ousted in Egypt...
