Parents With Little Screaming Kids

Sorry I was being a smart ass.

The dog situation is you being disturbed for days in your own home. The situation that's previously been discussed is a 3 to 5 minute disturbance in a checkout line.

At least I'm sure that's what most of the responses are gonna be (and they wouldn't necessarily be wrong).

What if I voluntarily walk into a bar and ask the guy next to me to stop smoking his cigarette?

So...................changing the subject, but in a relevant way, what if you had a neighbor who's dog starts barking loudly at 2 a.m. It's still going on an hour later. Next night, same thing. What do you do? And, yes, I think it's in the same vein.

You can't let it keep bothering you, so need to talk to the guy and let him know it's keeping you awake. If he's a dick about it after one or two of those talks, call the county and I'm sure there are barking dog citations at certain times of the day.
Or get a loud fan so you can't hear it. Or poison the dog. Or kill the guy and adopt his dog.

no, just somebody able to think a little. And another person that won't be at risk of an ass whipping as you cdw, weez and vol in ar go around mouthing off to people and expect nobody to get physical in return because a teacher in kindergarten told you not to.

Sparty, whatever your issues are, I hope you work through them. I've tried to be civil throughout, so I have no idea what your problem with me is other than I have a different opinion. I've not belittled you or your intelligence, nor have I wished physical harm upon you. I've not once excused the lady for mouthing off, just stated I don't think it warranted a beat down. I understand the mom was pissed off, and she had a right to be, but that doesn't extend to making what she did okay. It doesn't mean the "mouthy beatch" got what was coming to her. We all do things every day that annoy someone. Are we just supposed to walk around beating the hell out of each other? You have to draw boundaries, and the mom clearly crossed a boundary. It doesn't matter why, it matters that she did. I don't care what her excuses are. We all have excuses we could use. She did what she did, and it was wrong. It's that simple for me.

Weez, probably shouldn't have included you in that list. The point was that some here have insisted that basically, they should be able to say whatever they want, to whomever they want, at anytime, and be free from a physical altercation because it's "wrong" for anyone to ever get physical. I'm saying if they do act in that fashion towards others, they will learn the hard way, like the victim with busted teeth did in this event.
I didn't like when you repeatedly posted that I said the victim deserved it and the mom was justified, because that never happened and I've had to repeat it too many times, so don't play innocent. And "wishing bodily harm" on a poster for a "differing opinion" is quite the soap opera so you can stop there as well.

in a smoking bar? non smoking? And depending on the circumstances, I've seen guys be hit for much less, so you probably want to take quite a few things into consideration before saying something.

Recheck my posts, I corrected myself and stated you did not say those things, but that your posts certainly implied them. I stand by that. Maybe other posters will get a different implication, but I stated the one I found. I've not been the only one left with that implication, and I'm not just referring to the two posters who seem to want to make it more personal. Other rational, non-attacking posters have seemed to garner the same implication.

As for the "soap opera", I'm not the one who opened that Pandora's Box. I only commented on what I've seen posted.

I don't play innocent on anything. I have no problem owning my mistakes and taking responsibility for them. That's why I tend to hold others to the same standard.

That said, I'm done. This has escalated into something more than it ever should have been. It's taken a personal twist that this story just does not merit. I'll leave it at agreeing to disagree. Best to you and your family. :hi:

I love how insulted and outraged you became when you felt like your stance was being misinterpreted but then turn around and spew this nonsense.

Also... You claim to not wish bodily harm on any of us yet have repeatedly expressed how entertained you'll be watching videos of all getting our ass beat. Where as it's totally possible for the same person to have both of those somewhat contradictory feelings, there's no doubt it's a little bizarre

Pretend it is 1984 or maybe even 1994. Back then, bars were places where people expected to see drinking and smoking. Non-smoking didn't exist.

So again, you voluntarily walk into a bar and tell the guy next to you that his smoke is bothering you.

I'm not insulted and outraged. I just think you don't get it and can't, obviously. You claimed victim and being "civilized" yesterday, yet I went back and reposted where you had, in summary, called me a "butthurt clown" in one post with a "stupid opinion" in another, before I responded in kind.
You obviously are in some sort of la la land in regards to your own posts, and the idea that you can say whatever you want to anyone at anytime. My point is that if you think that, you will learn a lesson, as the girl did. And I wouldn't cheer for it. I just wouldn't give a flip, due to your attitude.

Disappear the dog.

Okay buddy... If you're really that oblivious to the pages of insulting our intelligence with comments suggesting lack of common sense, the subject going over our heads, and you being on a different commen sense level (which ftr I strongly agree with that one) coupled with your quickness to become aggressive with anyone that disagrees with you (even those doing far more politely than I did), than I don't know what else to say.

So I'll concede defeat here. You win... As the fact that I've continued to argue with the equivalent of a brick wall for like 5 days now is more than enough evidence to show what a fool I am.

Somebody brought their kid up to the bar a few moments ago and let the kid spit up liquid 3 or 4 times before finally deciding that maybe she might need to leave and not ruin everyone else's meal and drinking at the bar.

The wait staff had to pull resources from all over the restaurant and spent the last 10 minutes cleaning it up.

dad was quick to take us to the car and we would come back teary eyed and behaving, it is amazing at what parents let there kids get away with these days and will tell you how well behaved there little brats are

Mine wouldn't make it to the car. We'd get outside the door, and I'd get my but busted. My favorite ones were getting took outside church and spanked on the porch. Looking back I'm sure some drove by and saw me dancing around and jumping with my mom or dad holding on to me abd thought I was a spiritual little kid!

Just saw a sign at a bar in Spring Hill that said, "No minors sitting at the bar, Thank you".

Seems like that isn't an unreasonable expectation for some people after all.

What kind of bar? Was it a 21 and up bar? Is it a restaurant with a bar? Does the owner wear an eye patch? Details Ras, details.

I'm picturing Business still sitting at the restaurant with the same screaming kids; only they are teenagers now.

"Boycott Sal's..."

Florida pizza restaurant banned children, and many are not happy

Troy Taylor, who opened the Hampton Station pizza shop in 2015, had started his business as a family and hipster-friendly eatery with patio courtyard and a variety of action figures positioned on the tables. But after “a lot of people who couldn’t keep their kids under control,” Taylor tells the Tampa Bay Times, he was forced to take action, referencing a particular incident as the catalyst for his decision.

"A kid was in danger and could have seriously been hurt," he said. "It’s a liability and safety issue. After the incident, I thought, this can’t happen again."

The restaurant is located on a busy street in the Seminole Heights neighborhood and has an unprotected patio with access to the road.

Troy defends his decision citing the mixture of alcohol, which the restaurant serves, and kids could have dangerous results.
