I wonder how many handbags Maya's mom still has?

Lol! I tried not to take the bait, but I couldn't help it. But to answer, she probably has a lot left because those things looked cheap and terrible. But the thing is some of their fans didn't think it was a big deal or didn't raise any flags that she was allowed to sell them and make a profit. Oh well. I actually like Maya Moore. She's nice and can't help she's a darn good basketball player. I don't know the Moore's personally, but some of those rumors and accusations about her recruitment raises several flags and I'm just a casual fan. I could care less about any of their personal business. A lot of things just seemed really fishy.

Lets face it, everyone with a brain knows Candace was snubbed twice this year, and we all know why. She shut up all the hate last night with a stellar, MVP, top 3 player in the world performance. Enough said.

People were way too hard on Candace IMO. That's a fact. Even superstars have bad games. Suggesting she be traded was a bit much for me, if I'm being honest.

I would have totally traded LeBron after game 2 of the Cavs- Warriors championship!

And I would have totally traded Steph Curry after game 4 of the Cavs-Warriors series.

And I would have totally traded Luke Skywalker after the Empire Strikes back.

And I would have totally traded Bob Dylan after his Self-portrait album.

And I would have totally traded the allied forces after the battle of Dunkirk.

I pay no attention to the WNBA. Was Parker their best player? Were they expected to win it all?

Parker was the best player 2 out of the 3 wins so that's why she won MVP and she took a back seat for half the year so she may not have seemed like their best player but she's been their best player since she entered the league. And the Lynx were the favorite because they had the better regular season but the Sparks weren't too far behind in the regular season. The 2 best teams played for the championship and the team with the best player won, as it should be.

The refs blew two improbable calls last night, which caused a rift about if LA, won the title on their own merit. If you look at the game tape, the possession before the Ogwumikes shot, Beard got an offensive rebound for LA, the shot clock should have reset, which it never did, which would have given LA a fresh 24 seconds to run clock, and not come down to if Ogwumikes shot was good or not. I am a referee, and girls basketball coach from the state of Michigan, I sat back and laughed, at the whining coach of Minn,(remember the 8 second violation that wasn't called?) who blasted the refs, not even knowing herself, that on a offensive rebound, the clock resets for the offensive team!!! Can We Say, Go SPARKS, (Candace Parker) WNBA 2016 CHAMPS, karma is a !!!!!!!.

Actually that rule changed. Now when you get an offensive rebound you only get 14 seconds. But they did completely miss the 8 second call on MN.

The Lynx are perennially expected to win the championship due to Maya Moore being pretty damn good.

Parker is the best player on LA's roster. They are a usual contender but the Lynx were expected to win.

best part of that last second win? Seeing Maya not blocking out and letting Neka(sp?) slip right by her for the rebound of Gray's shot. Helpless much? lol

:lolabove:

"“Box out,” Ogwumike said.

Two Lynx defenders boxed out Candace Parker. None put a body on Ogwumike, who snuck in to the right of the basket, leaped for the ball and snatched it with two hands. She sprung for a lefty layup that was blocked by 6-foot-6 Lynx center Sylvia Fowles, rebounded her own miss while falling to the floor, pushed off her left leg and floated a tear-drop toward the basket. It went in."

Maya couldn't do much, Nneka is a strong player. It's funny and stupid how they cry on the last call when LA players got bet down every single time and ref never called.. Parker was kicked, pushed and grabbed inside rebound as well as Nneka and the rest of the players. I just thank God LA won.

Lynx and Mercury are expected to win every year not only because of their star players but because of their plethora of other stars.

Taurasi has Griner because of "dental issues" that caused Phoenix to tank a season and secure the top draft spot the year Griner graduated. On top of that they had Penny, one of the best international imports and Candice Dupree, an all-star caliber player.

Maya has Seimone, Whalen and Fowles... all Olympians. Plus they have Brunson, who has been an excellent player since she entered the league and deep bench of players in which some could easily start for half the teams in the league.

Candace has Nneka. Finally this year LA also had a healthy Beard, a more consistent and well rested Tolliver and two steady guards in Carson and Gray. Lavender was sixth woman of the year too. This was the first season in a long time that nobody missed significant time for injuries. People like to compare Candace and Maya in terms of championships but I don't recall Maya ever having season ending surgery. Good for her but it has been the nail in the coffin for the Sparks many seasons when Parker has missed significant time for injury.

It's been a long time coming but I can't think of anyone I wanted to win a championship more than Candace, Nneka and Beard. Nneka because she plays with the same never give up energy as Catchings. Beard because at one point a doctor told her she would never play again due to chronic injuries and Candace because of all the bull**** and sadness she has been through this year and the constant criticism she has faced for years.
