I'm of the camp that believes that it's a bad idea to sit a hot shooter. We have seen players (ala Hopson) start stroking the jumper, just to sit shortly thereafter. I know they need breaks, but "scheduling" them early in the game seems like a bad idea. Given our lack of ability to run good scoring set plays at the end of the half and game, I'd rather build a good lead and try to hang on, at this point, even if we had to back off the press late in the game.
Im of the camp that I would just like to see us score consistently out of an offensive set.
