Michigan and now Georgia have let recruits go the last two days. Georgia insiders are saying they might drop two more before signing day.

Please stop with this how bad Butch is for dropping a recruit. If you want to play with the big boys of the SEC this will happen. If you have someone in and someone better wants in, this is the way it works.

How the heck are GA and AU getting so many top recruits? They both sucked this year, one has a new staff, and the other's seat is getting warm based on this past season. AU has three top rated WRs....

I don't think you can say GA sucked this year. They had a bad stretch but they still won 10 games.

GA will always have great classes because of instate talent. When you can draw a 150 mile circle out from campus and have 30 four stars or better in it. Your bound to have good recruiting classes.

They can spew if the want. I'm showing them this is the way it is. If they don't want this to happen go cheer for ETSU or UTC. If you want to win championships you have to be ruthless on and off the field.

Problem is.....they already know. It's been said adnauseum to them. They don't care, they just want to spew garbage, hoping to be noticed.

Then.....I have to come into a thread that is filled with nothing but "This message is hidden because (Insert Name here) is on your ignore list."

Think of the rest of us man.

we had a top 5 class after three straight years of 5-7. Those years were much worse than Auburn or Georgia had this year.. recruiting is about how well you can sell not always the records

I know for fact this staff uses tact when recruiting. They were upfront with a certain QB/S now WR. He was told from the start he would get a shot at QB. If it didn't work, he would have a position change.

Recruits take to Twitter when they are "wronged". Knowing what I know about how they approached that recruit, I will trust this staff (especially the HC) to inform players of their status upfront.

Recruiting is slimy. You can be assured CBJ tells these kids from the start if there is a remote possibility of a position change or the recruit losing their spot.

So only the championship teams do this?

I swear I remember DD doing it

Imani Cross...Keith Henderson...yeah. Only problem was he sucked at evaluating and didn't upgrade.

Championship programs recruit elite players

Championship programs develop nfl players

The dropping of commits is our staffs way of correcting their poor inability to evaluate under the radar recruits Early in the process. Our roster proves that being the case.

I am sooooo thankful we are willing to drop players because this staff is very very overrated in evaluating players outside to the top levels of the recruiting services early on on the process. No chance this staff could survive without dropping 3-5 kids a cycle

Exactly. And the Auburn campus isn't that far from Atlanta and that helps them out as well.

That's the dumbest post I've ever seen on VolNation. Seriously. And that's saying something.

You don't like Butch dropping kids late in the process. Everybody gets it. Really. Making up stuff to support your own dumbass agenda is wrong (at best) or slanderous (at worst).
