Pastner and Memphis struggle against CBC

I do, Memphis had a chance at a National Championship.

Memphis was so good that year and UT still beat them. Good memories with Tyler, Wayne, and "PJ."

CBU is a team from NCAA division 2...i've seen them play plenty of times really well coached team...likes to take all 35 secs of the shot clock plays a slow down type of game...and can shoot it really well

It would suck cheering for Tiger High. The game last nite would be a major concern if I were a Memphis fan. Yeah Knoxville looms as a very scary game for the Tigers. No excuses for scoring 60. It may be that you're just bad right now. Probably true. Go Vols!

Memphis fans should be in an uproar over an exhibition game :loco:. If anything UT fans should be pissed that MTSU mopped the flow with them in the NIT.

Man, a lot of wishful thinking in this thread.

The only coaches on a cooler seat than JP are Calipari, Izzo, Self, Pitino, Boeheim, K, Roy and Donovan.

Last Saturday, they smacked around Alabama in a closed scrimmage. It was an 18-point game late and the final was 12 or 13. They will be fine. They play CBU because they know it will be a low possession game and CBU makes you guard for 30 seconds. Memphis could have been much sharper but they played with exhibition intensity and got themselves into a dogfight. CBU is one of the best teams in Div. II and because of the way they play you have to be efficient offensively to put them away.

If Memphis doesn't play well against UNF and Samford then I'll worry. But this was way more productive than beating a garbage team by 50
