I hope Memphis keeps Pastner for a long time. He's such a great ambassador for the program and for the "city".

I thought Memphis was going to destroy the C-USA 2.0. Hell, Louisville was so scared that they decided to leave. Things should get back to normal next year, besides the annual 3-5 losses to UConn, Cincy, and SMU.

And there are more Pearl threads on the U of M forum than there are here. Obsessed with everything UT, even its garbage.

So many Memphis fans on a UT site. Obviously they are all looking over Big Brothers shoulder to see what they want to be when they grow up.

I got sloshed last night, so I went to bed. (late game)

We lost a game...the sun still came up...Memphis is still in the NCAAs...and it's the same ole "fire josh" stuff.

I guess I remember 1997-2000...where winning really was hard, and a 8/9 match-up in the NCAA tourney sounded like paradise.

I really think most don't realize how close we came to going back to the Tic Price days right after Cal left...Tim Floyd, Scott Drew, and Leonard Hamilton all said "no" and RC had Cal whispering in his ear "hire Tony Barbee, I'll send you some players"

I don't get upset about making the NCAAs

This coming from a dude that has a coach that recruits supposedly all 5* and McDonalds all Americans and can't get to the sweet 16. Laughing my ass off.

Pastner has another recruiting class coming in full of future D-Leaguers and Globetrotters.

I'm really starting to believe that recruiting services do rate 5* players on potential and not necessarily where they're at right now. Pastner can't develop that potential for the life of him. He's apparently so bad that his talent can't carry him despite his shortcomings, ala Calipari, Les Miles etc.
