In the end, I'm just proud that the University of Tennessee School of Journalism & Electronic Media continues to put out successful journalists in the sports world. Finebaum, Paige, Woj...These guys being in high-profile positions is good for UT.
I agree, but it's a shame that none of them seem to be proud of their alma mater.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want David Pollack-type homerism spewing from them, but it would be nice to hear a little affection every now and then. I actually heard Finebaum say on the radio a few weeks back something along the lines of "I'm not sure how I made it out of Tennessee, but I sure am glad I did."
I've heard more love for Vanderbilt (because of his wife) from Finebaum than I've ever heard for Tennessee.

Not true about Woody Paige and Wojo. I have heard both speak and they speak very highly of their alma mater. In fact, they both have spent time recently speaking to the journalism students and giving back to UT. Both also indicate they want UT to get back on top so they can talk trash to their co workers.
Both seem like good guys. Especially Wojo.
