Paul Harris Quitting Football

Funny in the DeAnthony Arnett thread him leaving because his dad was sick was just an excuse to leave because he didn't like the coach. And peoplr were bashing him because he wasnt tough enough.

People were bashing him because he tweeted a photo of himself with his dad in the hospital bed pleading for him to leave UT. There is a right way to ask to leave and there is a wrong way.

Arnett has 1 reception this year. BTW

People fault Arnett because he went to the media and made UT look bad for simply following the rules. And Arnett's dad wasn't any sicker than he was when Arnett decided to come to UT; the kid used his situation to circlejerk the system. Act like a punk and people think you are one.

I think everyone here has heard me fuss about the kid not getting any playing time this year (not like he had a bunch of upperclassmen ahead of him)...so, I was really hoping he'd have a break out season, next year.

Kid has the size and speed we need, on this team. But I was afraid Azzani keeping him on the bench might compel him to leave. Travis Henry was the same way, when he was buried on the depth chart. His mom talked him out of it, and he had big career, here.

He may have had some issues after he got into the NFL, but that kid could pound the rock, and deliver some wicked stiff arms.

At least get your facts right. Harris was hurt about all year and couldn't play. No coach was "keeping him on the bench". You compare him to Travis Henry's situation so do you think the coaches were keeping Travis on the bench for no reason or could it have been he couldn't beat out Jamal Lewis?

Kid is a certified stud if he is going home to take care of Mom, especially if he is giving up football to do so. Hope he can play football again at some point if he chooses, wherever he wishes, but most of all that his Mom is okay.

If its true, shame to lose a 3-4* who had promise for next year - but family comes first. If so, I wish him well. Hope he stays though.

Not trying to be shallow but this is the first thing that came to mind. He took a slot from someone else

He played in 5 games this year :loco:You don't have f-ing clue. I followed the situation closely all year...listened to Azzani and Bajakian every week and there was no mention of him being hurt all year.
You need to get the facts straight first, yourself, before you start talking shiite, here.

Clueless Dingleberries like yourself kept saying he's redshirting, when he in fact, he was not.

your language speaks volumes about your knowledge. Check it out and you will find he suffered from hamstring issues all year.

I was told once to never wrestle with a pig because you both get dirty and the pig likes it. Have a nice day.
So...you're admitting, then you have no clue....had no info to go on, in the first place. Yet you're going to try and correct others, here? :loco: Just some bogus second hand information on the forums here...about him redshirting. Your posts are full of FAIL.

I was once told that when a Bullsh!tter tries to upstage you, just use the facts to stick his nose in it, and he'll think twice next time around.

No I get that, I misread your post I was replying to. I thought you were saying he didn't get PT this year. My mistake, carry on lol
I was hoping, that with our young group of WR's, he'd have bigger role as the season progressed. Never really happened. Bullsh!tter here, was trying to correct me, saying that he was hurt all year and medical redshirting....blah.blah.blah.
