Obviously, we know very little about the case. What we do know, is the story as told makes little sense. I do not really care what the real story is. What he was doing or not doing doesn't matter to me honestly. What does matter to me that they (the media) put out some lame story that assumes we are dumb. It is getting old.

Completely agree , it’s a nothing story that in todays politics would mean zero backlash . They made it into a story by not coming clean and putting out statements that don’t line up

We don't just say "people don't always do what you'd expect in life or death situations" and leave it at that. This brings up serious questions and therefore I'd sure like to see that bodycam. I'd also like to hear the 911 call. Why hasn't this been released? Sounds nefarious to me

If this story as reported is a lie and it really was a gay lover or something similar, it's not a nothing story. It'd be an enormous embarrassment to the Pelosi family. Money buys the press sometimes and can alter these stories. If they're doing that and that comes out then we've got an even bigger story and one that might even get into politics

I'm into fact finding and then I go where the facts lead me. The DA report doesn't jive with the FED report thus I'm left with questions on what the facts actually are. It would sure help if they released things like the bodycam and the 911 call

It’s another thing to selectively believe only some of the stuff coming from one source without any primary sources for comparison, which is what others are doing.

Every person who was there or has access to the evidence says basically the same thing with respect to the relevant facts: Pelosi called the police to report a strange man in his house. Police arrive and witness a man bash Pelosi with a hammer. The man spontaneously confessed to breaking in through the back door looking for Nancy.

We know the back door was smashed. We have more than a pretty good idea that Pelosi called the police given the dispatch recording and the fact that police showed up at his house.

As more comes out you’ll be able to nitpick bits and pieces of both prosecutors’ narratives, but if those basic facts are disproven, I’ll be more than a little surprised.

I agree that we ought not speculate about gay lovers etc at this point. I'm sure not jumping to any conclusions. If more doesn't come out soon, my first suspicion will be "coverup". Metro PD had a couple police shootings a week or 2 ago and the bodycam footage was released that day or the next day. Tyson CEO arrested and footage was released within a couple days but for some reason SFPD is keeping the Pelosi footage under wraps.

Going forward, I can almost guarantee that there will be more things that come out that aren’t consistent between the two prosecutors and between defense and prosecutors versions and, if we get it, between the primary sources and these two versions.
