You have no.clue who will or will not be missed. His opinion is just as valid as yours. There are donors that will keep their money in their pocket if they believe the team is undisciplined. I dont know this persons relationship to the university anymore than you do.The penalty flags tell a story no matter what our orange colored glasses As a man that grew up loving football and sportsmanship, there are a lot of athletes that don't represent the university or themselves well and that isn't restricted to Knoxville.

Look we can debate if certain instances were warranted or classless … we All have opinions but no one is truly correct on those discussions…



However it’s not debatable regarding CJH and his penalty issues. It’s been a real problem for him for a number of years now. His teams just lack discipline when it comes to penalties and that’s not debatable

Bruin, you rail on most everything regarding baseball and how CTV runs things from recruiting to his game antics and now you’re bringing it to the football forum. At times you’re sensible and I back you where I can, but overall you come off as miserable, antagonistic and contrary on everything regarding UT athletics. If things are bad on The Hill why continue to tune in/follow?

Yes, penalties are a problem especially without an offense to overcome them but the comment about all the team wants to do is fight is over the top. Not 100% condoning an eye for an eye but we don’t know what’s being said or done under piles all night that finally make a guy lose his place. The lack of penalties in our favor game after game has to eventually wear on their patience and temperament as well.

You guys downing this kid who probably was trash talking and didn’t purposely spit and Bowers being an idiot trying to say it was. You will believe a stupid dawg without proof. Tuttle gets a cheap shot that could’ve ended his career and this guy upset about some saliva. Never seen that end a career even during covid. Quit jumping our Vol player because Bowers says something. Shockley kept his mouth shut on Tuttle then they put their Kumbalo on our ticket the next year. Take up for our Vols cause Georgia will sure take up for theirs. Some of y’all will jump on our kids even with no proof. If that’s you then you suck. Own it.

The audacity of the decision makers to purposefully put that player on their ticket the following year was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Just a terrible thing for whoever was responsible for that decision.

An Alpha. At least we know that Pearce is the type of person that won’t go behind ya back. If he gotta problem he gonna make sure you see it coming. Spitting on someone is nasty, and enough to warrant punch in the mouth for it. But we all don’t know what Bowers had said to Pearce, if anything. If Bowers said something to him out of the way, then he deserved it.
