He's not just a one dimensional DE/OLB. He had some great, gap shooting tackles this past year. It would be awesome to have him another year, but that's a selfish desire of fans. I can't see him doing it. He would be taking a chance staying for another year. His best bet is to go to the NFL right now.

Wouldn't say it's a guarantee. Many NFL experts consider him small for his position and isn't very twitchy. He didn't help his cause this year. Was a top 3 pick coming into the season, but stock has dropped. Guess we will see. He's one of my favorite players and would love to see him in Denver or Atlanta.

He kinda is. He doesn't several things good, but nothing great. His stock dropped this year compared to before the season started. I wish him well either way

Just heard so much hype about him and never really saw him dominate in big games. Seemed invisible against OSU.

Any "NFL Expert" that doesn't think Pearce is "twitchy" is unqualified to do whatever job they do.

I heard the announcers talk a ton about him but it just seemed like every game he was hyped to be this sack machine and it didn’t happen. I’m not saying he isn’t a great player. Just didn’t seem to have a major effect in big games. I could be wrong. Just seemed our DTs caused more qb hurries than the DE.

Unless UT gives him a 10M retention deal, he needs to go. If he stayed, he would need his damn head examined- that would be the dumbest decision ever.

Congrats James. I think he would benefit from another college season, but hope he balls out in the NFL
