if i was in here talking ish about football or had mentioned football then your argument would make sense, but it was never mentioned til you had nothing else to fall back on with makes it a moot point in the discussion we are currently having.

I just love how you either HATE Kiffin or LOVE Kiffin.

Where's the selection for all the idiots who loved him when he was here, turned a blind eye to the little things, then when he was offered another job, suddenly took everything personally? 99% of Vol fans fit into that category.

I didn't have a problem with the secondaries from Kiffin, and I don't have a problem with what Pearl did. My problem is that Pearl lied. I'm not a fan of hypocrisy. If ya ain't cheatin', ya ain't winnin'. That being said, when you're caught, just admit it, take the slaps on the wrist, and move on.

However I do love how our fans suddenly claim that Kiffin lied to us time after time. That fabrication still blows my mind.

I find it funny though that the NCAA is mean and wicked until this happens, then suddenly they are just doing their jobs and it's completely Pearl's fault.

Pearl's job is to stay one step ahead of AA if he is cheating. In other words, he put himself in front of the boulders.

I have a horrible feeling when the NCAA investigation is wrapped up that there will be plenty of blame to spread around. We now know there is more to the story beyond making calls on throw away phones in Pearl's case. Who knows what the NCAA will find in regards to football considering the reputations of Orgeron and Kiffen. If we don't get hammered with lack of institutional control by the NCAA I'd consider us lucky.
