Rumor surfacing that a ticked off Coach from Ohio State used Aaron Craft's testimony to report the Bruce Pearl house visit after we beat OSU in the sweet 16.
I don't think Pearl would be terminated. I could see the 'AA docking UT two or three scholarships on top of the self imposed penalties. Hard to gauge what they would do regarding a postseason ban. Until the USC decision, they hadn't used that hammer much recently.thanks. what would the outcome likely be if all has already come to light?
No major violations so far.
For penalties the NCAA primarily looks at competitive advantage conferred. That is why Reggie Bush getting hundreds of thousands of $$$ and being a superstar for USC was a big advantage.
Having Craft and Selby over to your house for burgers before they decommit and go to other schools is not a big advantage.

Hard to project an outcome as long as new information is being made public. When new stories about violations quit breaking, it'll be much easier to predict the ultimate outcome.
Other than uproarious laughter? Not much. I did have a coach point out how it's interesting that Jim Harrick got fired a year and a half after winning a national title for lying about the number of people who attended a dinner and Pearl is somehow still empoyed.Other coaches reactions and the consensus from college basketball circles in general?
Is Matta, assuming he's the one who turned UT in, going to be an outcast as well?
