Pearl not welcome at ESPN?

cool.

I don't see what purpose making up those two comments would be.

I guess it is more fashionable for you to just hate him blindly and dismiss everything he says because he lied about a bbq.

The haters find things like what Calhoun did at UConn exceptable because he had a man in place to throw under the bus. But, God forbid that you give a kid a hamburger and chips and deny it. These people would have made great priest during the Spanish inquisition (as scourges of God ).

Vitale doesnt like Pearl either. With Knight and Vitale both going to bat against him would be tough, but if I'm ESPN i want someone in that both they dont like, might be some fireworks.

Who would be happy to have a known snitch added to the payroll?

It's not grudges with Vitale or Knight that could stop Pearl from joining ESPN. It's the pending violations that could be sanctioned against Pearl. Hiring Bruce could be potentially be a bad PR move by ESPN. However, they do have Gottlieb on payroll.

Maybe its because he doesn't talk with a lisp, and didn't coach at ND.

All kidding aside, If I was Pearl I'd lay low for awhile anyway.

Yup. I've made it clear that I'm a bandwagon NBA fan. I like the Bulls, mainly because of Watson, Noah, and Rose, but when I was watching the Eastern Conference Finals, I found myself cheering for the Heat despite my preconceived notions. I was a LeBron fan before CJ got to the Bulls, and I really wanted him to win the championship. I just think it's ridiculous how America treats LeBron. Did he REALLY do anything that bad? No. "The Decision" was a bit much, but was it really something to absolutely hate the guy over? I don't think so. People completely throw aside the fact that he was raising money for charity with that event. I will be cheering for LeBron for the rest of his days, or until he wins 6 championships.

I admire your honesty, but c'mon dude pick a team and stick with it

I would like to do nothing more than have a NBA team I can pledge my full allegiance to, but I just don't feel the way I do about the Vols or Titans as I do for any single NBA team.

That being said, I consider myself passionate about this particular Miami team after the media demonized them. The amount of hate and disrespect LeBron has received in the past year irks me.

In any case, I'm also disappointed that I can't find a team to stick with lol.

Your Colts icon leads me to question how much you love the team or just the QB. What if the Colts suddenly lost their current QB? Would you cheer just as hard?
