Tommy Springer is some old school midget guard.
Those Alabama and LSU rosters were loaded.that's before my time as a UT fan.
My first UT hoops memory is watching Tyrone Beaman bring it up at Stokely, dish it to Michael Brooks for a long-range J. Seemed back then that he hit so many shots that now are treys. And Dale Ellis and Willie Burton - those are fantastic memories.
btw, as Meeks was dropping 54 on us the other night, did anyone else reflect on what a ridiculously talented league the SEC was back in the late 80s/early 90s? Shaq, Chris Jackson, Houston, Gerald Glass, Horry, Sprewell etc... - is that just my memory, or was the league pretty talent-rich then?
He was a Vandy guy, so I threw a bit of a trick in there. He was about 5'11", 6'7" with fro.that's before my time as a UT fan.

Brooks would have been deadly with the 3 and he had more range than any UT player that I can remember. He had Reggie Miller range.
You are on the money. The league had some incredible rosters back then. UK had many of them.
UK under Pitino was the re-birth. I remember us beating them when Corey Allen grabbed an intentional Houston FT miss, put it back up and in, got fouled, and we won by 1. They were loaded - Mashburn was one of the best college players I ever saw play.
