So you are saying he will never drive down 75 again? That is a bold claim.

Yeah. I don't understand the title either. Really no reason to think he'll never drive down 75 again.

Good piece - strange title.

Good post, thanks. I don't understand why fans are calling for Pearl's head when he has done so much for the program? He hasn't lain down like Fulmer did. I hope he stays forever.

I'm perplexed why I keep seeing so many posts asking why people are calling for his head, when in reality there are hardly anyone actualy calling for his head.

Some people need to stop acting like valid concerns and criticisms means they want the coach gone. And stop answering such criticisms and questions with some long drawn out post about how it's not Buzz Peterson anymore.

So is anybody in the Knoxville media going to ask Bruce what in the world he was thinking by having 60 percent of his crummy-shooting team's attempts come from behind the arc?

Seriously, is every valid question about the teams' performance going to be met with a list of all Pearl has done at UT? That is getting very Fulmer-esque.

He said in his presser after the game that when you have all 5 guys on defense playing inside the arc, that is what you are going to get.

I was in and out, but I think that's what he said.

Just seen several posts at different times and places. Like I said,I don't understand why. Mayme there will always be naysayers and I should just learn to overlook them. But as a casual bball fan I think Pearl is superb and see no reason for dissent. Bball has been more relevant in K-Town these past 4 years than in any time I can remember excluding the Ernie and Bernie show.

Ah. So it's "taking what they give us" all over again. Rather than try to force the action ourselves, we'll just heave up all these three-pointers, in spite of the fact that we've been crappy at shooting the three all year.

The fact that our center took twice as many 3-point as 2-point shots tells you all we need to know about how much we tried to establish an inside game. I really wish we had somebody in the media here to call Pearl out about that.

You can't go around questioning a deity. The public won't stand for such blasphemy.

I'm pretty sure the guy Tyler collided with and knocked into our bench before releasing the shot wasn't inside the 3 point line on the last play.

What's Pearl's beef with 75? And, why is he so hell bent on never driving it again? Too many pot holes?
