I don't think it is too much to ask but the expectations of going to a final four after losing two of your best guards and two more of his players to off the court mistakes is a little high (pardon the pun) IMO. Pearl himself said he did not have high expectations for this team. He has to reload quickly and get some real talent in here. Hopson may take some time to turn into a real player, but we need a NBA player in here soon. Can he do it, time will tell but I think he has earned that time.

Somebody dig up the post from last year where hat said he was watching the end of the Memphis game with tears rolling down his face. Or the post where he said when Kiffin was hired that Hamilton would be "two for two in big time hires"
When I was in Philadelphia, I asked an assistant coach who I consider near impeccable in judging players, both talent and character, about Selby. He looked at me, smiled, and said "You mean the next Jonathan Hargett?" Take that for what it's worth.The only thing that would stop Selby from ending up in the NBA is himself.
