Ok I love Pearl as much as most people here, and I don't think he gets fired...but lets say he gets canned.. who replaces him? I'd love for Bo Ryan to come in but thats the Wisconsin side talking.. who else would be a good fit at Tennessee?

Yep, but anyways...not to derail the thread any farther.

I would call Ben Jacobson, Randy Bennett, Billy Kennedy, and Stevens - as far as mid major coaches with big potential are concerned. On Kennedy, it surprises me that he didn't get any more mentions after taking Butler down to the wire in the 2nd round. I'm not sure if he turned down talks or if it is a reflection of his coaching ability. He's won wherever he has gone, though.

I don't know about probation...but sadly, there is more information coming up everyday about him so who knows.
