Don't think it's Achilles because they had ice on the outside of the ankle. Wouldn't they ice the back of the ankle/foot if it was Achilles ?

I would imagine it was a high ankle sprain. Though I shattered my ankle in a car accident and the way he would not put weight on it made me think of my injury.

If anyone was near the sidelines, were they squeezing his calf? If so, that would point to an Achilles tendon injury. Having ruptured mine on both sides, that is the first thing I thought of when I saw the replay.

When he went down, he was grabbing the front side of his lower shin. I doubt it has anything to do with his achilles

What do you mean it didn't look bad? A defensive lineman flew into his leg from behind. I was assuming his leg was broken until he got up and put some weight on it.

Big losses for them. Sanchez is their Cam Sutton; freshman AA corner last year. Shepard was their leading WR.
