Here's the thing. Hamas liars, CAIR, say jihad and pure Islam is "fringe," "extremist." So why do they CAIR about disrespecting the Taliban? According to CAIR lies, Taliban and jihadists do not represent Islam, they have "hijacked Islam"; so why would CAIR care about "respect"? CAIR calls these Marines immoral, but considers honor killings, clitorectomies, forced marriage, child marriage, polygamy, subjugation of women, slaughter of non-Muslims, Jew hatred moral?

I do not see why this is a problem. They are the ememy.

I am sure that our wonderful Commander in Chief will want to put these fine American marines in prison.

They need to be punished I would expect us to have a little more professionalism.

They hang, behead, burn our troops and drag them through the streets, but we are better than that. They are worthless scumbags who will rot in hell. However, we should hold ourselves to a higher standard and not do this.

Thay are corpses. If the outrage is that they should not have been killed, that is one thing; if it is that their dead bodies are anything more than trash, that is another.

Dead bodies are corrupted and empty vessels.

Guess you were okay with what the Iraqis did to those Blackwater guys since they were the enemy.

It is deplorable. Men and women in uniform should be held to a higher standard in the US. TRUT if it were a family member that would still be your reaction? You honestly scare the crap out of me. I hope that you cannot honestly believe these things you say sometimes. I hope that when you die people will treat your body with more decency and respect than it sounds like you would treat theirs. Or at least argue for Men who treasure none of these things that moral individuals should and do. The should be NJPed or Court Martialled and given a proper punishment

I'm not falling into the never ending discussion of who's right or wrong on here. I don't need to talk, I live it.

It doesn't matter if we're ok with the tactics of our enemy. The enemy doesn't care how we feel. The enemy only wants to destroy us and everything we stand for.

Are our actions moraly wrong in the eyes of some? Yes

Will that stop me from doing my job? Hell no

Do some of our troops make dumb decisions in the heat of battle? You know it

Most have not walked in our shoes. Combat changes you. Makes you do things that if given a second chance you would do differently. Do not judge what you do not know.

I know, that's why I do not judge.

Killing them because we are at war is one thing.

Leaving the bodies behind is one thing.

Making a video of intentionally mistreating them in a disgusting way, to serve ONLY the purpose of antagonizing people, when there is ZERO value to doing so, quite another.

Tell me, anyone, what legitimate purpose this could ever possibly serve.

I would rather be pissed on and defecated on than shot and killed. Once the soul has left the body, the remaining carcass is nothing more than waste.

I can't believe some here actually condone these actions and defend it by saying they were decisions made in the heat of battle... really? If you have time to stop and think about peeing on a dead body, then you have time to stop and consider the consequences. These videos serve no purpose than now to be used as a recruiting tool for Islamic militants.

It was both juvenile and ill-advised; however, I have a hard time seeing it as somehow morally wrong. Their actions will probably be used to justify an attack against more US troops and State Department personnel in Afghanistan; however, those attacks were going to take place anyway.

These Marines are morons, no doubt; aside from that, though, this is not some immoral act that should lead to outrage.

For me at least, the "outrage" has nothing to do with the morality of the act. It has to do with someone who is a de facto representative of me acting like a complete idiot.

It's like walking down the middle of a street in Mumbai wearing a t-shirt with an American flag on the front and "Buddha is a fat bastard" on the back. Yeah, it's pretty much true and is not immoral, but anyone with a clue knows it's going to incite.
