Penix simply does not fit our new coach's plans. If necessary Pruitt and staff will use the guys we have and recruit QB's heavily next year. Consider the old saying, "Ya can't put a square peg in a round hole," and Pruitt evidently considers Penix to be a square peg in his planned offense.

Edit to add: Really, Pruitt may like the idea of a dual threat QB like Hurts at BAMA, perhaps that's why he told Penix to look elsewhere for a better fit.

Go VOLS ! ! !

CBJ would have never done this. He likes the challenge of square pegs!

Maybe he can find hapPenix somewhere else! lol

Has anyone seen my Penix? lol

I've decided not to get worked up -- yet -- with decommits and commits. Right now, it is a revolving door with some coming and some going. It's like a guy stealing home from third base and creates a cloud of dust at home plate. We have to wait until the dust settles before we know if he scored or is out, i.e. the February signing date. Until then, it is probably best for my health that I don't look.

1. I didn't know anyone had posted about his de-commitment in the recruiting threads.
2. Not everyone visits the recruiting threads for the latest info. Many expect the latest news to be on the home page.
3. I see you felt the need to open the tread anyway and make a smart ass comment.
4. No one cares about your thoughts so STFU and GTFO.
5. The end.

Penix is in good company. Last two Qbs Tennessee coaches told to move on went to much better programs and broke every frickin passing record the schools had.

Pruitt better have a better eye for Qb than Lane Kiffin

This kid probably would of signed early and the fact FSU is gonna pick him tells me he ain’t too bad

Could of still had plenty of time to go get who ever they wanted after December 22

He was obviously fine with 2 qbs in the class also

Great, zero QB's commited now!

It's Okay, We already got 3 of them and JG was the #1 dual threat in the country.

Does no matter when you can't develop a QB / your OL is outright terrible and fired your strength and conditioning coach (tired and injuries).

Geez I can't remember the last time those guys were able to form a pocket for a QB to sit in and and make a pass.

JP will do better / BJ was an absolute hard head. We go from Debord to an OFC who has not made a play call since HS?????

If Butch had half a brain he would have kept Chaney!!!

Pruitt with start with the Ol and DF lines and work his way from the inside out.

Just can't believe that no one worked with JG while he took his Red Shirt???
