Malzahn was gone only 1 year. So it would be like Fulmer being canned in after the '99 season and Cut coming back to take over in 2000, with even more of his original recruits. Not trying to diminish Malzahn at all, he's done great. But, as you were illustrating, it's an apples and oranges comparison given that Auburn is 3 years removed from a NC and that Malzahn is now working with guys he recruited to fit his system 2-4 years ago.

Mention the thing(s) that people post on VolNation that annoy you the most. My list is waaaay toooo long, so I will name a few from the last couple of weeks that come to mind.

1) UT only has 5 plays in the playbook and that's why the Vols suck (UT just doesn't have the horses) (Alabamer has three plays. Student body left, student body right, play action pass. By the way, Alabamer sucks because they run three plays)

2) bUTch Jones should have never been hired.

3) bUTch Jones should be fired after 11 games coached....11......yes....11....

4) the Gruden non sense has started again.

Mine would be people (op) complaining because posters/fans expect improvement and/or for Tennessee to return to prominence

I guess another annoying thing would be knee jerk reaction posts based purely on misunderstanding the OP or getting offended because you think said OP is about you

Your thread that was merged there buddy stated just that. You asked folks to list the annoying things that are posted. Then you referenced things that posters complain about. I referenced your lack of understanding of what this fan base wants.

You started a thread to complain about posters complaining. Your thread and posts on the matter are ironic.

This is the truest thing I've read on here in a long time. People that think Hart is more than a marionette are kidding themselves. Hamilton, at least toward the end of his tenure was the same. Does anyone actually think Hamilton fired Bruce, hired Cuonzo, hired CBJ? Jimmy Cheek is the puppet master over there and the only thing he cares about the athletic department is how much money he can leech of it. If you want to track the fall of UTAD, look at when the department was removed from the University president and placed under the Chancellor of UTK. Until Cheek is gone and another chancellor is installed that keeps his nose out of the UTAD, I expect more ofmthe same.

But you can't tell me where based on my OP I mentioned not wanting to get better and win. My point was if you execute three plays like Bamer you can beat anyone if you have the horses to do so. Are you making the case that if UT ran 50 different plays a game that somehow they would win based off that?

What i havent forgotten is that the 7 years after that weve had all losing seasons but 1. and that year was 7-6 i believe.

1. What was Saban's record his first year at bama?

2. Dobbs has shown a lot of promise. His problems are solely the fault of everyone but him.

4. If you question anything this staff does, you are a negavol and are the reason the program is in such a lowly state.

The problems at UT are systemic. We have people in admin with some really strange cravings(boogers), that's only the tip of the iceberg the UT ship hit. :yes: :crazy:

Let the man get his and I mean his recruits here before we run him out of town this is not a quick fix job, if you want one of them go down town to a street corner and wave a 20 dollar bill and get your fix, at least 3 more years before we will win big, this program has been a mess the last 6 years and the people that have panic after the vandy game need to look they are a good football team this is not the vandy of the last 100 years, this is the best they have ever been and when JF bails on them then it will be like the old days again leave the starters in the dressing room getting ready for the next game and play the second string and beat them 40-3, just hang in there we TENNESSEE WILL CONTROL FOOTBALL IN THE SOUTH VERY SOON.

Very interesting point in the midst of a very good point. I think we're all frustrated. Some of us see this lack of foundation and consider that maybe the current coach, who has no foundation to build on, shouldn't yet be the target of that frustration.

So pretty much we whipped them on both sides of the ball, but allowed them to stay in the game by not finishing them off? I don't call that a clobbering with a 4 point win. I call that outworking your opponent all game, but failing to generate points out of given opportunities. I am by no means downing them for that win. I'll take a 1 point win any day! I'm just saying a 4 point win is a very narrow margin and if it wasn't for our D stiffening up at the end, we could have very well lost that game.

Now, you might ask Michigan how it feels to be clobbered by Tennessee in a bowl game ...
